Joe Mock:

"So thru rock and roll diligence I am assembling a decent collection
for a CD. I’m not done yet because KLOS is playing more highlights tonight and I need a clean recording of the Who’s set."

Its all on the right bittorrent sites – every artist, their entire
set.  Dont know how they got them (XM feed, something without
commercials), but its all there.

Bill Wilson:

"Make no mistake, the footage on AOL will be downloaded, turned into MP3s, and traded.  Forevermore."

And it was there within 3 hours of the concert.  No one had to wait for AOL.

If you broadcast it, they will trade it.  So, either you can keep the music
locked up, never let your artist do a show (live shows can be taped and traded
too!) or you can see this as a good thing, this quantifiable desire to own the
works of artists, and MONETIZE IT!
