Starting THIS Sunday night (January 22nd), and continuing THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER (i.e. until football returns and eats up my time slot) I will be hosting a radio show on L.A.’s 97.1 FM, KLSX, from 9 to 10 PM.

Sure, it’s terrestrial radio, but it’s the one format in the earthly world that will survive…TALK!

Now one of the reasons talk will survive is because it’s localized.  But, bowing to the technological sphere, KLSX now STREAMS its shows.  So, you can sit in front of your computer and hear me testifying from Wilshire Boulevard and call in and add your two cents.  (Go to http://www.971freefm.com/, click on "Live", then fill out the form and launch the player.)

The first show is going to focus on the Grammy Awards.  Important recognition of achievement or worthless piffle, the industry’s love letter to itself?  I can stretch out in this format and let you know exactly where I stand, and you can talk back and let me know if you think I’m RIGHT!

As with the old KLSX show, in the future I’ll have guests, both artists and industry professionals.  So tune in.
