So disappointing what a sham this Grammy process is.  As a kid, I believed the Grammy to be the highest honor!  When I learned a while back what the real deal was, it was like finding out that there wasn’t a Santa.  Now, I figure every industry does this, in one way or the other?  It’s no wonder why we’re all so jaded.

Anyhow, regardless of any new rules, I’m sure enough of these compilations were created at one time or another to give enough people out there the power to nominate and vote for this crap!  A while back, the Def Jam album was called ‘Yo, We Came to Bum-Rush Your Christmas!’

I’m sure by now most of that regime left or was fired, but since all labels do this and everyone moves around, a stable of voting members are there from somewhere and have done their time singing "Deck the Halls."   As long as you keep paying the yearly membership fee, you’re a member.  The appointed Grammy coordinator in the company collects the ballots during each process for the members and fills out the ballot for you.  Your other favorite band, Nickelback, was nominated after all. That should say it all?!

Enough of these friecken award shows! They’re an embarrassment to the music industry.
