Dear Bob,

I have been following you for some time now. I agree with you most of the time. Bravo! But, I must say, your latest piece about my dear friend Jerry Wientraub is right on the money.

He and I go back 54 years. We reminisced and kibitzed last week at lunch. I was supposed to attend  the event last night, but I came down with the flu and was unable to attend.

We know all the same people, but I’ve never met you personally. I look forward to meeting you in the future. From a happy subscriber, thank you for making my day better and being honest and doing good for a friend!
