When live nation formed promoters that had risked their own dollar retired. The ones that remained didn&#8217;t feel the hit as bad when they lost company money. Many of their buyers don&#8217;t know what it is like to lose their own money.\u00c2\u00a0 The buyers have lost touch with the public. Limp Biscuit? Really that should be a club tour or theaters at best. <\/p>\n<p>With a strong economy bands were overpaid. Bands that can&#8217;t sell $20k in tickets could make 50k at casinos and festivals.\u00c2\u00a0 Many agents don&#8217;t have a clue what their act is worth in a hard ticket economy. Many managers are in the same boat. Their act hasn&#8217;t released new product that anyone cares about enough to see live in 3 years or more.\u00c2\u00a0 Why would people want to overpay to see the same show they saw years before?<\/p>\n<p>Concert industry is doing just fine.\u00c2\u00a0 Everyone will just have to work for what they are worth. Just because you have a few songs people know doesn&#8217;t mean you have the right to make millions. The shows no one wants to see will go away. TO was on the CMT awards.
