So I read this one, and there it is ... "But the track that IS better than the classic is the opener, "Seasons"..." Well, that is MY favorite track on that record, which is also my favorite Steve Miller record. I toured Canada with him, in August of 1992, on Bryan Adams' Waking Up The Nation tour .. and it was a HUGE thrill for me to be with him, as he was one of my idols ... I used to listen to that record non - stop. He was amazingly kind to me on that tour, and one day he said to me that he would do whatever song I wanted him to do, as a kind of challenge to himself. Guess which song I picked ? That's right .. Seasons. He went out and did it alone with an acoustic guitar in front of 35,000 people that night and he even dedicated it to me. I was on the side of the stage, freaking. He did it alone because his band didn't know it. We had an argument later on about the color of the album cover ... I said it was yellow, and he said it was blue or something ... now, who do you think would know better, a fan, or the guy that made the record ? I stared at that damn thing for hours at the age of thirteen, before I started forgetting stuff ... I won the argument, BTW.
