<p>Bob: So you see, even when you try to do the right thing, you're screwed. Bob:

Regarding the Letterman video of This is Us: no one at WB (or Nonesuch) has any interest in the clip being made LESS available.

We don't own it. We didn't have it taken down.

There has been a player with this music available from day one on our website (www.nonesuch.com). You just click on the album cover on our front page and it takes you directly to a multimedia player that begins streaming This Is Us. The same player also appears on the WB site.

But your point is well taken that this music should be available to be heard anywhere and everywhere and that label websites are not always the first (or second or third or one hundredth) port of call.

So there is a MySpace page now up too: http://www.myspace.com/alltheroadrunning. It has also been available for awhile on Emmy's site (just click on the All The Road Running graphic: http://www.emmylou.net) and on Mark's AOL site (http://music.aol.com/artist/mark-knopfler/94636/main).

Very glad you and seemingly lots of others like the song. It's even being played on the radio, where its #1 on three of the four AAA charts at the moment. It's even selling.

Best,
David
