Bob,

thanks for mentioninging my song. please don&#039;t lambast Compadre for having no balls. I told them to pull down the accoustic version, because I don&#039;t care for it so much, and because a rock station that I was visiting downloaded it by mistake and I was thouroughly embarrassed when I heard that tinny twelve string intro. I only put the accoustic version up in the first place because, when I wrote the song, there were only two weeks remaning until the 2004 presidential election and I wasn&#039;t going to be able to get my band in the studio for another week. We put the band version up with barely a week to spare and it didn&#039;t change the world, or at least it hasn&#039;t yet. But the free download, nearly a year in advance of the album, got more attention than any of my records since Wasteland.
